Kindle Recycling is my term for the process of taking any kind of non-fiction “how-to” Kindle ebook title, and transforming it into a higher priced information product that you can sell in a different format (and marketplace) outside of Amazon.
Kindle Recyling is typically much more profitable (and sometimes quite a bit easier) to sell a $99 information product than it is to sell a 99¢ Kindle ebook. If you have already written the book, then you are 90% of the way there using the very same content. It makes for an easy upsell for your existing customers, helps to brand you as a leading expert in your niche, and makes it easier to build a database of paying customers outside of Amazon.
