Training #323 – Ingram Spark with Keri-Rae Barnum
One of the most common questions we receive is, “If I have published my book to Amazon through KDP, do I really need Ingram Spark?”
It's a great question; why set your book up on two platforms if one could cover all angles? But the answer is more complex than that.
KDP Print is a fantastic publishing option for authors and if your marketing goals rely on consumer sales exclusively, it may be all you need. However, if you want to now, or may ever want to, expand your book sales to the retail or library markets, taking a look at Ingram Spark may be worth your while.
In this training, Keri-Rae Barnum from New Shelves Books joins us to talk about the advantages and disadvantages of both programs and when you may want to use one over the other or distribute your books through both.
