That’s because your book cover is the very first thing that people see when they find you on the shelves of a big box store or in the virtual shelves of Amazon in a bestseller category or some sort of keyword search related to your book. And it’s your first (and sometimes your only!) opportunity to make a great first impression with your book cover design and get folks actually clicking through and buying your book.
