Kindle Kid's Book Creator (KKBC) is an amazing tool! It provides a simple interface for getting a fully illustrated children's book ready for sale on Amazon.
You can import your images, overlay your text, and (if you follow our additional pro tip below) you can even add links in if you are willing to do a little extra work. For fixed layout books, this is one of the easiest pieces of software available. The only real drawback is that the books you create in it are only for the Amazon marketplace, as it will not create books in ePub format, only in the Mobi/KF8 format.
