Training #178 – Ins and Outs of KDP Select
KDP Select…the best thing ever or the worst thing to happen to publishing, depending upon who you ask.
KDP Select is Amazon's “special club” for it's Kindle authors. You don't have to sign your books up for it, but they really want you to and offer you some major perks for doing so, chief among them being access to their Kindle Unlimited program and the Amazon Prime Lending Library, along with some special promotional tools.
Of course, that comes with a price, and it may not make sense to sign your book up in all circumstances. In this training, we will go over what it means to sign up for KDP Select, what that allows you to do (and what you are not allowed to do) if you sign up, as well as the promotional strategies you can use related to your KDP Select enrollment to help your books sell.
