The Pros and Cons of KDP Select
One of our most frequent questions is about KDP Select, which depending upon who you are talking to is either the best thing ever or the worst thing to happen to publishing!
KDP Select is Amazon's “special club” for it's Kindle authors. You don't have to sign your books up for it, but they really want you to and offer you some major perks for doing so, chief among them being access to their Kindle Unlimited program and some special promotional tools.
Of course, that comes with a price, and it may not make sense to sign your book up in all circumstances.
