Training #497 – Story Time Success

We've spoken in the past about selling our books into libraries and into schools, as well as how to create book guides and activities, so while planning out our training for the rest of the year, we decided that a perfect extension of those trainings would be to talk about how you can have success with a Story Time.

A “Story Time” is where someone, often an adult or a librarian, reads a story aloud to an audience, typically children. It's a popular activity in schools, libraries, and homes, and are one of the best ways to promote literacy, imagination, and a love for books among young listeners.

Today, Keri-Rae Barnum from New Shelves Books is joining us to share how we can pitch, book, and host a Story Time with our books.
