This week we covered some recent news about the DOJ lawsuit to stop Penguin Random House from acquiring Simon and Schuster, Podium's acquisition of BookStat, and how we could potentially be impacted. We also walked through the current Apex Authors site to show where to find various features and to highlight some recent updates over the past few months, and showed how to use the Bestseller Mindmaps. We answered Nicol Valentin's question about choosing an appropriate title and subtitle for her book and matching the right genre-appropriate cover. We also had a discussion of what you could do to prevent KDP from shutting down your account and your options if they do.
