Training #632 – Exploring ChatGPT Images 2.0

OpenAI just released their latest graphic model, ChatGPT Images 2.0, and we wanted to test it in real time and see how it compares to Gemini's Nano Banana.

We tested the new ChatGPT Images 2.0 image generator via TypingMind and the API, but all of our prompts and experiments would work just as well in the normal ChatGPT website, even on the free accounts.

We did our best to try and “break” it, and compared results side-by-side with Nano Banana for many of the tests. Some of our tests included:

  • Typography accuracy
  • Character consistency
  • Complex scene adherence
  • Genre/style recognition
  • Editability of generated images
  • Cover mockups

All-in, our costs were under $2 during the session.

You can see (and copy) our exact prompts and the resulting images below the replay. (Note, if you click on any of the images, you'll be able to enlarge them to see more detail.)
